How One Little Boy Changed Everything

Frenchie Lounge Media wasn’t created because we wanted to start a media company.
It began with a little boy who simply wanted a best friend.
In 2020, the world changed overnight. Like millions of families, COVID-19 turned our lives upside down. Our son was only five years old and halfway through kindergarten when his classroom became our home. Instead of making friends on the playground, he found himself learning through a computer screen.
As the days passed, he became lonely.
He asked us for one simple thing…
“Can I have a dog to be my buddy?”
Our neighbors owned French Bulldogs, and one day they brought them over to meet him.
The moment those little dogs walked through our door, everything changed.
Our son fell in love. So did we.
Not long after, we welcomed our very first French Bulldog into our family.
As every Frenchie owner knows…
French Bulldogs are like potato chips—you can’t have just one.
Our love for the breed quickly became a passion. But we also knew something important…
If we were going to become breeders, we wanted to do it the right way.
We wanted to learn everything we could about responsible breeding, canine fertility, pregnancy, whelping, and giving every puppy the healthiest possible start in life.
While researching on YouTube, I came across Master Breeder Academy.
It immediately caught my attention.
Soon after, we boarded a plane to Minneapolis for an intensive three-day course where we immersed ourselves in canine reproduction, fertility, whelping, and responsible breeding practices.
That trip changed our lives forever.
Not only did we receive an incredible education, but we also built a lifelong friendship with Patrick Farrell, founder of Master Breeder Academy.
Eventually, we were honored to become Brand Ambassadors for Master Breeder Academy throughout the United States, helping educate others about responsible breeding and canine reproductive health.
As we began thinking about how to share this knowledge with more people, I looked at my husband and said something that would unknowingly change our lives forever.
“I need a microphone.”
I wanted to go to dog shows, Meet breeders, Interview people, Share their stories.
Show the world the incredible passion that exists inside this community. That simple idea became…
Frenchie Lounge Media.
What started with one microphone and one dream has grown into something we could have never imagined.
We began traveling across the United States, covering dog shows, interviewing breeders, showcasing kennels, highlighting vendors, featuring pet brands, producing podcasts, and preserving the moments that make this community so special.
Then came the phone call that changed everything.
Rachel Roman, founder of Coachella Valley Bully Fest, invited us to cover one of the biggest bully breed shows in the country.
We were excited. We were nervous. And honestly…
We had no idea that one opportunity would open so many doors.
When we started, we had… No following. No reputation. No connections. No experience in media. Just a microphone…A camera…
And a genuine love for people and their dogs.
Because of the trust placed in us by Master Breeder Academy and Rachel Roman, Frenchie Lounge Media continued to grow.
Today, we’ve traveled throughout the United States, completed more than 800 interviews, documented incredible dog shows, featured amazing kennels, highlighted pet brands, produced podcasts, captured behind-the-scenes moments, and helped preserve memories for thousands of people throughout the dog community.
But if you ask me what my favorite part is…
It’s not the trophies. It’s not the famous kennels. It’s not even the biggest shows. It’s the Junior Handlers.
Watching young people walk proudly into the ring beside their parents… sharing the same passion, dedication, and love for their dogs… reminds me exactly why we do what we do. Seeing the pride in a parent’s eyes as they watch their child succeed…
Those are the moments that matter. Those are the memories worth preserving.
Today, Frenchie Lounge Media has grown far beyond French Bulldogs.
We proudly cover all breeds, pet brands, educational programs, podcasts, industry events, and businesses that share our commitment to excellence, education, and responsible pet ownership. But our mission has never changed.
We tell the stories. We capture the moments. We create the memories.
To every breeder… Every show host… Every vendor… Every sponsor… Every junior handler… Every family…
And every person who has welcomed us into your community…
